International Marketing & Sales Executive

Fantastic opportunity for a highly ambitious, fresh graduates that are looking to pursue a career within the Conference Industry. An event sales executive role is a fast developing and dynamic. A real passion for closing deals and securing sales is needed. You can get a unique opportunity to join one of the leading conference business companies in Europe and work across their flagship events. As a Conference Sales Executive, you will generate leads, communicate with conference delegates, and close their participation on forums, conferences and seminars. You are expected to reach a minimum target of the annual sales working in a collaborative sales environment.

Tasks:

Generate leads
Communicate with leads
Close delegate sales
Telephone communication
On-line communication
Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs

Requirements:

University or College degree
Excellent telephone communication skills
Convincing skills on the phone
Very good computer skills, internet and social media
Fluency in English, additional language skills are beneficial
A proven determination to succeed
Be dynamic, passionate, self-motivated and highly ambitious sales person
Have the ability to learn and develop in an ever evolving business environment

Conference Producer:

The Conference Producer will work with other members of the project team. Your key tasks will be to conduct conference topic research, write marketing copy and invite speakers. You will receive an extensive one-on-one training and be able to quickly take control of your events under the supervision of the Head of Production. If you are successful in the role, career progression will be rapid. You will form personal connections with the best and brightest minds of the European business, economics and politics and have a regular contact with the senior business leaders.

This is a fast-moving and intellectually stimulating career. You will be constantly challenged and thanks to the project-by-project nature of the business, you will never get bored with monotony. Furthermore, the entrepreneurial nature of the role will give you the autonomy to be the master of your own destiny.

Essential skills and experience required:

University degree (preferably in a relevant field i.e. Journalism, Business, Communications, Marketing, Political Science or similar)
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Excellent research skills
The ability to highly organize your work routine
The ability to work under pressure and towards tight deadlines
Analytical skills
Readiness to follow processes and standards
Flexibility

Nice to have but not essential:

Specific conference production experience
